  The study aimed to identify the level of future anxiety among university students in general. The study sample consisted of 320 male and female students, of whom 200 were from Sana’a University a public university, and 120 from private universities, in the capital Sana’a. Therefore, a Future Anxiety Scale was developed. The results of the study showed that the level of future anxiety among the sample members was high, as the political field came first with a high degree, while the social field came in the last with a high degree. The results also indicated that there were no differences in the level of total future anxiety and its fields according to the gender variable.
